Islam wanted the Muslim to open up on the other and on
the entire society he lives in. Moreover he wanted him not to be
pessimistic, but always be optimistic and never frustrated, despite all
the difficulties and challenges he may face.
Such a call for opening up does not only want to get
the Muslim out of social isolation. It also aims at driving him to be
positive in his dealing with the others. Such positive interaction will
serve the interests of man in general, as well as highlighting the
practical side of Islam in particular. We, therefore, stand against the
Islamist universal negative attitude , and call upon them to be positive,
provided they are aware of the traps and political tricks that might be
prepared for them. We cannot act in a naïve way, towards the plans and
projects of the others who aim at promoting their own interests. Imam Ali
(a.s.) says: If corruption becomes a norm than if one man would think
well of the intentions of the other, he would be deceived".
Another condition we should be aware of is that we
have to ensure that leniency will not lead to political fluidity turning
Islam into something that has no taste color or smell, and leading to
relinquishing one's values and principles. On the contrary, we have to
adopt an offensive attitude to present our thought to the other, and not
to remain in a defensive position.
That is why we have always called on the Islamists
whether in the Arab and Muslim world or in the states of migration to
enter the political process and not to isolate themselves, even it this
means that they will be accused of exploiting religion for political
purposes.
This is because we know that the arrogant world seeks
to tie us to our values, or leaves us to choose between the positivism
that means yielding to its will and interests or the negativism that
amounts to a form of exclusion on the basis of not belonging to the
civilized world, since defending your country against occupation will
make them portray you as a terrorist that is fought by this world, which
respected the strong only.
America that had conducted a dialogue with the
Vietnamese and is now doing the same with some of the Iraqi resistance
organizations, it does want any dialogue with Hamas or any other
Palestinian Intifada organizations . This means that America that has
responded to the Israeli demands and that is afraid of the political
results of such a dialogue is not serious about its calls for democracy
and freedom, since its represents the Israelis.
This attitude is actually a new aggression against the
Palestinians and the Intifada organizations that enjoy a big respect in
the Arab and Islamic world, which means that America's problem with the
Arab and Muslim peoples will persist if not aggravates . We also wonder
about how could Europe that is aware of the American impasse in the
region take the same stands, which could lead to the same consequences.
Faced by such an attitude and by the unprecedented
Western condemnation of the Iranian President's talk about the Holocaust,
and his call to investigate the real number of the Jews killed in it, we
ask: Where is the freedom of expression the West boasts about? Where are
the Western human rights organizations? Why do they oppose such a call,
while they want all Muslims to remain silent in front of all these
distorting campaigns of their religion and the insults of their Holy
symbols especially those targeting their Holy Messenger (p).
This world is practicing hypocrisy, even when it is
talking about the positive aspects of the electoral process or the role
of the people in certain countries. We have not to withdraw or yield to
its pressures. Those people have failed in their effort to defeat us by
security or political means, and they want now to defeat us by means of
psychological means or media campaigns.
We have to prepare our selves on the cultural and
media levels, so that we will not lose on one front what we have gained
in the others.
