The Arabic language of the Holy Quran

The Holy Quran asserts its Arabic language through the following verses: 'Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran that you might understand,' (12:02), 'A Book of which the verses are made plain, an Arabic Quran for a people who know,' (41:03), 'It is a Quran in Arabic, without any crookedness (therein): in order that they may guard against Evil,' (39:28), 'The Faithful Spirit has descended with it, upon your heart that you may be of the warners, in plain Arabic language.' (26:193-195).

Justice to disbelievers from a Quranic perspective

Amongst the Quranic verses on justice is a verse that talks about how to deal with peaceful disbelievers, for disbelievers are of two kinds: those who are in a state of war with Muslims, displacing them and offending them with various aggressive means, and those who are peaceful but differ with the Muslims on the religious/conviction level, for they simply do not believe in Islam, yet they coexist with Muslims just as various groups coexist together in a pluralistic society.

Experience in the Quran inspired from Cain and Abel’s story

Allah says in His Glorious Book: “Then Allah sent a crow digging up the earth” hollowing the earth out as if searching for something, “so that he might show him how he should cover his brother’s dead body,” (05: 31), signifying the ugly state of his brother after his death, who would become a fetid corpse or food to predators, which he would hate for him. Apparently, this Ayah clarifies that Cain (Qabil) was naïve and inexperienced as he had no on-the-ground experience

The matrimonial relationship in the Quranic view

Among the moral titles pertaining to the marital relationship is Allah’s saying: 'And treat them kindly,' i.e. you ought not to complicate matters and contrive to dissolve the marriage, but rather maintain a rational way of thinking.

The Quran: A Divine Message to mankind

Allah says in His Glorious Book: “Here is a Message for mankind;” a Message Allah has revealed to His Prophet to draw a line between the right and falsehood, and between good and evil: “Let them take warning therefrom,” so as to think responsibly, realistically and objectively, for the Quran entails a methodology for thinking and a method for dialogue and disallows turning any disagreement into a personal complex; but rather, it regards it as a basis for intellectual “give and take” that is founded on strong evidence and clear proofs…

An American preacher teaches Quran in a church

American preacher, Scott Morgan, embarked, by a personal initiative, on teaching the Quranic verses in a church in Virginia State, and he chose the verses that handle the issues of women, peaceful coexistence and citizenship. He also interpreted its meaning to the church attendants. Moreover, an American TV channel broadcasted Morgan’s interpretation of the verses, and pointed that at a time the United States of America is the homeland of Pastor Terry Jones who burned a copy of the Holy Quran in Florida State recently, it is the homeland of a number of preachers who teach Quran within its churches…
